Dating reality series with over 3 million subscribers on YouTube makes its debut as a streaming original in the latest milestone in the show’s expansion across platforms.
London, Thursday 6th August 2026 – Merzigo, the global media technology company powering the next era of premium content distribution and monetization, today announced a brand-new season of its popular dating reality series, Qesma W Naseeb: Alarusat & Alhamaat, produced for Prime Video. Having built a large and dedicated fan following over its previous seasons on YouTube, the format now makes the leap to SVOD as a Prime Video Original – the latest milestone in the show’s expansion across audiences.
The new season, comprising 120 episodes, is produced by M Networks, a joint venture between Merzigo and Melon Digital, and is now streaming on Prime Video across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). The format follows contestants who live together, navigate relationships, and face emotional challenges, with a twist that pits brides-to-be against their future mothers-in-law as they compete side by side. Beyond its core dating narrative, the show explores deeper themes including the tension between tradition and modernity, women’s autonomy, and intergenerational conflict. As relationships are pushed to their limits, one question drives the season: who will overcome the conflict, and prove that their bond is truly written in destiny?
Yigit Dogan Celik, Chairman & CEO, Merzigo, said, “We are proud to bring Qesma W Naseeb: Alarusat & Alhamaat to Prime Video with a season created specifically for its subscribers. This new season extends the concept of the show and adds a new dynamic to the everyday relationship between brides and their mothers-in-law.”
He continued, “The journey of Qesma W Naseeb shows what happens when a format proves itself natively: it becomes original programming for the world’s biggest streaming services. Our focus on cinematic quality, cultural authenticity, and digital participation built an audience first, and that audience is what travels with the show wherever it goes.”
Since launching in 2024, Qesma W Naseeb has become one of the most-watched digital reality franchises in the Arabic-speaking world, with more than three million subscribers and over two billion lifetime views on its YouTube channel. The series is shot on location in Turkey and is published on a daily, broadcast-style schedule.
The new commission underscores a broader industry shift that formats born and proven on one platform are no longer confined to the same platform. A show that builds its fanbase natively in the creator economy can now be commissioned as original programming by global streamers, carrying its audience, data, and cultural footprint with it. For content owners, this pathway transforms a single IP into a compounding asset, validated at scale on open platforms, and then extended into premium SVOD environments without losing the authenticity that built its original fan base.
